PMA/TOOLS polishing compound BB3 is used to polish the repaired stone chip.

A transparent adhesion-promoting agent is necessary if high-quality stone impact repairs are to be carried out using high and low viscosity UV resin. The glass resin primer is applied to the hardened UV resin surface and acts as a support function for the low viscosity impact filler. After 2-3 minutes flash-off time the impact filler can be applied. For small surface damage this primer is also used to clean the damaged area. It prevents any potential loosening of the cured resin from the damaged area.

Put a drop of pit filler resin on a mylar square and place the mylar over the point of impact. Alternatively put a drop of pit filler resin directly on the point of impact and cover it with a piece of mylar. For curing use a UV lamp with a power output of 4 W to10 W. After curing the surface of the pit filler resin can be finished with a razor blade and/or a polish to achieve best results. NOTE: The product should not get in contact with any rubber or plastic parts, nor painted surfaces of the vehicle. In case of contact rinse immediately with plenty of water or glass cleaner.

This is an extremely hard curing resin, creating a powerful bond to the glass surface. It is also easy to scrape off and then polish to perfection with our non-abrasive pit polish.

This grinding material is used for polishing the hardened UV resin surface. The polishing of the repaired stone chip improves glass transparency leaving a smooth surface.

Technical data

Sealing films are required to cover the repair area during UV radiation of the resin. The resin cures under UV light only when using a film. The advantage of our sealing films is their higher material strength which makes for easier handling.

Roger's finishing resin is an acrylic resin of medium viscosity used to seal the treated stone chip repair spot.
